Old Fred in the Cursed Mine

Preview of "Old Fred in the Cursed Mine" for ZX Spectrum 128k
In development, beta version v0.7, 19-sep-2024.
The final version (2025) will consist of four locations:
- The mining town.
- The cursed mine.
- The rooms of the Black Magician.
- The Hell.
with more than 250 screens full of dangers and challenges.
This is a playable DEMO of what has been done so far corresponding to a part of the second phase.
Note: It is possible that many modifications will be made in the future (sprites, map, sounds, music, etc.). There may appear some bugs that will be solved in future versions.

I'm finding the use of the arrows as platforms very difficult. Sir Fred as always a fiddly game, but I'm struggling with this more. The arrows disappear far to early to successfully use them. Am I doing something wrong? Looking at all the videos on YouTube, it's like everyone is struggling.

It already looks and sounds great, even though it's not even finished yet. I also included it in my new "Gameplay of New ZX Spectrum Games from September 2024" video along with all the other newly released ZX Spectrum games.
